Neurofeedback:
Therapy for your brain

Sometimes talk Psychotherapy is not enough.

That's because your brain's biology can also affect how you think, feel and act. With mental illness, brainwaves can be anchored in unhealthy patterns associated with brain fog, depression, emotion regulation disorder, and fatigue. Neurofeedback is a modern therapy approach that helps your brain train itself to promote healthier brainwave activity.

NEUROFEEDBACK USES THE LANGUAGE OF THE BRAIN TO EFFECT BIOLOGICAL CHANGE.

How does Neurofeedback work?

LEAN BACK AND RELAX

LET YOUR BRAIN DO THE WORK

FEEL HOW YOUR BRAIN CHANGES

I will first help you get comfortable and place electrodes on your scalp to obtain a real-time measurement of your brainwave activity (i.e. electroencephalography or EEG).

In contrast to talk therapy, Neurofeedback does not ask you to actively process your thoughts and feelings. Instead, the EEG communicates directly with your brain while you watch a film, listen to music or play a game.

When your brainwave activity shifts to a healthier state, the EEG rewards your brain with positive feedback. With repeated sessions, your brain consolidates these improvements for longer-term changes.

Is Neurofeedback effective?

With Neurofeedback, we utilise the brain's adaptability, or neuroplasticity - its ability to learn and change. Neurofeedback is a non-invasive and scientifically proven therapy that trains the brain to perform better.

Neurofeedback increases neuronal flexibility and stability and enables the brain to strengthen neuronal connections. This has a positive effect on bioelectrical and biochemical communication. This communication is known as ‘self-regulation’.

Neurofeedback has already been researched and used today for the following disorders:

Traumafolgestörungen

Angststörungen/Panikattacken

Depressionen / Schlafstörungen

Stressfolgestörungen / Burn Out

ADHS / ADD

Dyslexie & Dyskalkulie

Autismus Spektrum Störung

Long Covid

Migräne & Schmerz

Zwangsstörungen (OCD)

Tinnitus
